Event Details

Postgraduate Student Association (PGSA) invites all HKU students, alumni and staff to participate in the " Campus Memory " photography competition to share your exclusive moments on campus. By participating in the event, you will not only have the opportunity to win prize of photograph instrument but also have your works exhibited on the G floor of Chi Wah Learning Commons (智華館) from April 8 to 12, 2024, as we have already applied for the exhibition venue at there.

Competition process:

Submission Deadline: Feb. 25, 2024

Result Release: Mar. 16, 2024

Current students and alumni of HKU will log in to the voting platform through HKU email to vote. 50% of the total score comes from public judges, 20% from the PGSA jury, and 30% from professional photographer. The invited professional judge is Mr. CHEN Xuankai, an 8K RAW contract photographer.

There will be professional photography judges for selection, and rich prizes await you! Winning and outstanding photographic works will be exhibited from April 8 to April 12, 2024, at the Chi Wah Building, Level G.

Collecting Likes to Get Prize

Just collect likes in WeChat Moments, Instagram, or Xiaohongshu, and totally first 100 persons who submit your achievement proof can receive a unique postcard set. The order will be based on the submission order on the official website of PGSA. Eligible recipients can collect your prizes during the exhibition at the G Floor of Chi Wah Learning Commons from April 8 to 12, 2024!

Public Voting

After a month-long submission period, we received over a hundred entries. All qualifying submissions will be showcased on the HKU PGSA website. PGSA has selected 45 photography works for the second round of public voting based on criteria such as image quality, creativity, and relevance to the theme. Judging Result

The competition attracted many HKUers who are passionate about photography, capturing every moment on campus with their lenses and telling different stories. After weeks of fierce competition, it's time to reveal the outstanding entries!

Through public voting, PGSA's internal judges, and professional judges, a number of entries stood out for their extraordinary artistic expression and profound meaning.
