Over time, this tradition has been introduced to Hong Kong and has become an integral part of the culture on the HKU campus. HKU High Table Dinners are usually held in the century-old Loke Yew Hall. The hall is renowned for its later Renaissance-style architecture and classical interior decoration. The elegant and solemn setting of the main building is ideal for the traditional High Table Dinner. Loke Yew Hall is not only a symbol of the University of Hong Kong, but also a witness to Hong Kong's history.
